Permit Coordinator

Summary

Join Verra Mobility as a Permit Coordinator and collaborate with jurisdictions across North America to secure construction permits. You will build and maintain relationships with permitting agencies, oversee the permit process, and ensure seamless traffic enforcement equipment installations. This role requires a minimum of three years of permitting experience and an associate's degree. Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience working in permitting
• Associates degree
• Proven experience using project management methods
• Excellent communication with CAD Team / Project Coordinator on a daily basis for the scheduling
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally & in writing
• Possesses organizational skills and is detail oriented
• Demonstrates personal motivation, initiative, and potential for growth
• Possess the flexibility to adjust to a regularly changing workload volume
• A committed team player with exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain cooperative and productive work relationships

Responsibilities

• Understand utility, permitting & other external lead times
• Have a comprehensive understanding of power requirements
• Have experience with project managing multiple projects
• Accurately read construction design plans
• Maintain interaction with power companies for design clarification, job scope and schedules
• Participate in field meetings with external and internal customers, city agencies, contractors, city engineers and field inspectors
• Attend the permitting agencies coordination meetings and other client meetings as required
• Establish and maintain relationships with design team and construction team
