Summary

Join Verra Mobility as a Permit Coordinator and collaborate with jurisdictions across North America to secure construction permits. Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience working in permitting
  • Associates degree
  • Proven experience using project management methods
  • Excellent communication with CAD Team / Project Coordinator on a daily basis for the scheduling
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally & in writing
  • Possesses organizational skills and is detail oriented
  • Demonstrates personal motivation, initiative, and potential for growth
  • Possess the flexibility to adjust to a regularly changing workload volume
  • A committed team player with exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain cooperative and productive work relationships

Responsibilities

  • Understand utility, permitting & other external lead times
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of power requirements
  • Have experience with project managing multiple projects
  • Accurately read construction design plans
  • Maintain interaction with power companies for design clarification, job scope and schedules
  • Participate in field meetings with external and internal customers, city agencies, contractors, city engineers and field inspectors
  • Attend the permitting agencies coordination meetings and other client meetings as required
  • Establish and maintain relationships with design team and construction team
