Summary

The job is for a remote Certified Public Accountant with 5+ years of experience who will manage finances, bookkeeping, prepare financial statements, and handle tax preparation. The candidate should be proficient in accounting software, have excellent communication skills, high organizational abilities, attention to detail, a proactive problem-solving mentality, strong ethical values, and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CPA
• Proficiencies in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc)
• Strong understanding of tax codes and laws
• Experience with financial forecasting and risk analysis

Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping and conduct weekly and monthly close
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements
• Attribute expenses accurately against various companies
• Prepare all books and statements in advance of the quarterly tax season
