Requirements
- Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Prior experience working in primary care, digital health, or a similar clinical setting
- Proficiency with electronic health records and patient management systems
- Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with patients and colleagues
- A detail-focused approach to record-keeping and data accuracy
- Clinical judgement and problem-solving skills to support safe, effective care
- The ability to work independently on defined clinical areas, with support from the medical team as needed
Responsibilities
- Reviewing patient consultations, medical histories, and medications to assess treatment eligibility
- Providing clear, compassionate support to patients, responding to queries and guiding them through their care plans
- Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records in line with clinical governance standards
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and escalating complex cases where appropriate
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives, audits, and clinical team meetings
- Following SOPs and national guidelines to ensure safety and high standards of care
- Supporting clinical incident reporting and learning processes to uphold safety and improve service delivery
- Using a range of digital tools, including electronic health records (EHR) and remote prescribing platforms, to deliver efficient and accurate care
- Liaising with the operations team to highlight stock issues that may impact patient treatment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting patients in areas such as weight management, menβs health, or digital-first healthcare models
- Familiarity with digital health platforms, such as remote prescribing tools, telehealth systems, or patient-facing apps
