Summary
Join Dane Street and maintain our physician panel, negotiating costs and onboarding new physicians based on client needs. You will be responsible for panel maintenance, including updating physician profiles, fees, and doctor groups. Negotiate physician agreement terms, conduct outreach for new panel options, and onboard new physicians, obtaining necessary paperwork. Assist physician reviewers and fulfill open service requests for urgent network recruitment. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure network needs are met. Additional duties and special projects may be assigned.
Requirements
- Physician recruitment experience in a Healthcare/Insurance setting or equivalent transferable skill set
- Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and terminology
- General knowledge of State and Federal compliance guidelines
- Strong negotiation skills, communication skills, understanding of medical terminology, critical thinking, organizational skills, ability to manage time efficiently and to meet specific deadlines
- Computer literacy and typing skills are required
- Supply and support their own internet services
- Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is a requirement of all work-from-home positions
Responsibilities
- Understand Client fee schedules and TAT requirements in order to Negotiate physician agreement terms
- For existing physicians, assist with maintaining: Physician profile instructions
- Updated fees
- Doctor Groups
- Deactivating/Reactivating physicians
- W9 remit to changes
- Research and conduct outreach when new panel options are needed
- Onboarding new physicians including but not limited to: Responsible for the administrative tasks relative to the maintenance of the physician panel
- Onboarding new physicians based on Client needs
- Negotiating costs/contract terms according to pre-established guidelines
- Obtaining necessary paperwork including agreement, application, CV, W9, NPDB
- Working with the Director of Operations to set the fees for agreements
- Providing dictation/Access DS instructions
- Assisting physician reviewers with technical or case inquiries
- Sourcing/Fulfillment of Open Service Requests for referrals requiring urgent network recruitment. Requires daily updates on sourcing efforts
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure the network meets the specific needs of the business relative to the various physician specialties
- Other duties & special projects, as assigned and based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- An Associateβs Degree or Bachelorβs Degree is preferred
- Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred
