Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a business or quantitative field
• 4+ years of experience in mortgage operations and/or leading a loan processing team
• Expertise in mortgage processes, underwriting requirements, and regulations
• Excellent communication, people management, and organizational abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for process optimization
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience with loan origination systems (LOS), product pricing engines (PPE), and other mortgage technology platforms

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the loan pipeline from application to funding
• Manage a growing loan processing team, including hiring, training, and professional development
• Ensure team and deal compliance with mortgage regulations and investor guidelines
• Collaborate across internal teams and lender partners to resolve deal escalations
• Provide real-time pipeline reporting to facilitate transparency and communication across stakeholders. Forecast pipeline volume so the team can effectively manage capacity
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements
