Summary

Join Affirm as a Platform Account Executive (AE) and contribute to significant market share growth by onboarding platform partners with our strategic payment partners. This role demands exceeding aggressive quotas, proactive deal management, and driving Affirm adoption. You will own the full sales cycle, develop outbound strategies, and create compelling proposals. Success requires navigating complex sales cycles, managing multiple projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Requirements

  • 5+ years of solution selling into strategic accounts ideally with a digital/financial product (channel sales experience is a plus)
  • A successful track record in providing a point of view and thought leadership in the platform space, identifying key partner prospects and converting them into partner revenue streams
  • Demonstration of consistent ability to over-achieve quotas (top 10-20% of company) in past positions through complex sales cycles
  • Possession of qualification skills to be able to recognize high value opportunities, prioritize time and effort, and eliminate distractions
  • The ability to navigate internal cross functional teams, influence without authority, and align teams around a common goal
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks concurrently
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and active listening skills

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for mid-market and enterprise platform companies that are live with our strategic payments partners, guiding them through the process to successfully onboard with Affirm
  • Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities
  • Develop comprehensive, competitive proposals that drive new business opportunities with platforms
  • Successfully lead negotiations and related contract terms that create a mutually beneficial relationship
  • Independently manage your sales pipeline according to best practices (detailed account plans, SFDC hygiene), ensuring to consistently meet and exceed quota
  • Contribute to shaping our platform sales strategy and building repeatable processes
  • Collaborate effectively and engage various pre- and post-sales cross-functional teams to successfully grow Affirm’s platform footprint (e.g. Pricing, Risk, Client Success, etc)
  • Travel into defined territory quarterly to meet with and present to potential new platforms
