Platform Engineer

Summary

Join TIMOCOM as a Platform Engineer and be part of an eight-member team responsible for platform cloud solutions. Work 100% remotely or flexibly utilize TEAMocom Spaces. You will be responsible for deploying Azure services using a platform engineering approach, developing and maintaining the internal Kubernetes-based platform, collaborating with developers in an agile environment, advising internal users, and exploring new technologies and cloud services. The role requires several years of experience with Terraform and Kubernetes, along with excellent English or German language skills (C1 level). Requirements

• Bring several years of professional experience in development with Terraform and Kubernetes
• Have very good English skills (from C1) or German skills (from C1) to communicate well in your team
• A high level of quality awareness is important to you – especially with regard to clean code, usability, automated testing and a functioning CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the provision of various Azure Services according to the Platform Engineering approach
• Further develop the internal Kubernetes-based platform and ensure maintenance and operation
• Work closely with our developers in an agile environment
• Advise and support internal users of our platform
• Discover and test new technologies and (cloud) services

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Azure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring with Grafana & Prometheus is desirable
• You are interested in further training in the area of cloud & multitenancy architecture as well as GitOps
• You are characterized by your strong problem-solving skills
