Join Colibri, a leading provider of online professional education, as a Compliance and Regulatory Specialist. You will conduct in-depth research and analysis of pharmacy laws, identifying new or amended bills and regulations. Your responsibilities include critically reviewing findings, summarizing complex legislation, and answering customer questions. You will maintain knowledge of industry trends and collaborate with team members. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in political science, and legislative/regulatory experience. Strong writing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of emerging and current laws impacting all sectors of the pharmacy industry, with a primary focus on the gathering and synthesizing of pharmacy law into consumable and actionable content for Bulaโ€™s clients
  • Identify new or amended bills, proposed rules, and subregulations through legislative and regulatory research
  • Critically review findings to determine the impact of the change on pharmacy compliance
  • Maintain working knowledge of current industry trends by monitoring and tracking legislative, regulatory, and policy developments at state and federal levels
  • Analyze and succinctly summarize complex legislation and regulation
  • Conduct comprehensive research and provide detailed answers to a specific set of customer driven regulatory questions regarding pharmacy compliance
  • Monitor regulatory board websites for subregulatory guidance documents
  • Provide guidance and assistance in a timely manner regarding regulatory problems, issues, concerns or questions associated with pharmacy compliance
  • Maintain customer driven regulatory questions as assigned by management on a project basis
  • Collaborate with team members on legislative and regulatory processes for assigned jurisdictions
  • Participate in time sensitive projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of retail pharmacy space
