Requirements
- Masterβs degree in public health, economics, social science, public policy, or related field
- 6+ years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of wide range of research methods and processes, including literature reviews, quantitative analysis, qualitative methods, and formal writing
- Experience designing and conducting economic and statistical analyses of health care and economic data, including from government sources
- Experience analyzing administrative claims data
- Technical proficiency in analytical software including Microsoft Excel and one of the following statistical packages: R, STATA, or SAS. Experience with analyses in SQL databases a plus
- Ability to demonstrate an exceptionally high level of organization and attention to detail
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work with others remotely
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to organize and articulate findings, prepare and conduct presentations, and facilitate group discussions
- Ability to plan, organize, manage, and prioritize work across multiple projects
- Experience writing and reviewing substantive sections of project proposals as well as providing input to budgets and other facets of proposals/pursuing new business opportunities through networking and other avenues

- Our organization requires that all work, for the duration of your employment, must be completed in the continental U.S. unless required by contract
- Must be able to work during eastern time unless approved by your manager
- Employees working remotely must have a dedicated, ergonomically appropriate workspace free from distractions with a mobile device that allows for productive and efficient conduct of business
Responsibilities
- Designing and leading research projects or tasks using qualitative and quantitative methods
- Identifying, acquiring, and analyzing health, health sector, and related economic data from government and other sources to complete project tasks and economic evaluations
- Analyzing survey and claims data (commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid) to answer research questions of interest
- Conducting statistical analyses to assess the significance of program and policy impacts and assess relationships between health and lifetime outcomes
- Create written and oral presentations interpreting data for a variety of audiences including conference presentations, client reports, public facing white papers, and peer-review journal articles
- Develop and refine data visualizations to present findings to a wide variety of audiences
- Interacting closely with clients and being responsive to client needs
- Managing/supervising junior staff
- Working on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Develop work products from start to finish while maintaining a consistently high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
- Ensure that deliverables meet project requirements, e.g., analytical type project tasks are executed within budget, scope, and schedule
- Manage risks and report status and completion of tasks to clients and stakeholders
- Support business development activities through solution design and technical proposal contributions
