Summary

Join Worldwide Counter Threat Solutions (WCTS) and assist the Modernization, Integration, and Transformation (MIT) group in modernizing and transforming VA acquisition business systems. You will support the Project Management Office (PMO) in managing projects, driving success through collaboration, and leveraging emerging technologies. Responsibilities include managing the organization's Change Management Portfolio and creating comprehensive reports on change initiatives. A Master's degree (preferably MBA or in organizational psychology), 15 years of government experience, 10+ years of program/project management experience, and PMP and Lean Six Sigma certifications are required. Requirements

  • Able to meet security and privacy requirements: Tier 1 / National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI)
  • Master’s Degree
  • Minimum 15 years of experience with Government
  • 10+ years of program/project management experience in managing and evaluating organizational improvement initiatives
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Lean Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

  • Assist the organization’s Project Management Office (PMO) with day-to-day project management for the modernization and transformation of VA acquisition business systems across component offices
  • Assist the PMO as a trusted partner for enterprise-wide acquisition projects to drive success through collaboration, fostering continuous improvement, and maximizing the use of emerging technology to ensure the VA Acquisition Community is equipped to provide quality support/services that comply with the evolving federal and VA acquisition mandates
  • Manage the organization’s Change Management Portfolio and Change Roadmap
  • Create visuals and reports that comprise a comprehensive view of all change initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Degree in organizational psychology or similar
  • Certification in personality assessment tools used in talent management and organizational development such as Hogan certification or similar
