Summary

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in a presales, solution architect, or bid response role within the telecommunications or IT sector
  • Proven experience managing RFP/tender responses end-to-end, including drafting response content, managing timelines, and coordinating with internal teams
  • Strong technical knowledge of VoIP, SIP, PBX systems (including cloud and hybrid), and unified communications
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to structure deals, model pricing, and assess margins
  • Excellent communication and proposal-writing skills, with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary owner for the technical components of proposals, including full responsibility for managing and responding to RFPs and tenders
  • Engage directly with prospective customers to understand their technical and commercial requirements
  • Design and document solution architectures across cloud PBX, SIP trunking, staff mobility, and contact centre environments
  • Build commercial models and pricing for proposals, ensuring competitive offers that align with company's financial targets
  • Prepare quotes, scopes of work, BOMs, and detailed solution documentation to support proposals
  • Present and defend proposed solutions in customer-facing meetings
  • Collaborate with the Technical Director and Delivery teams to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and supportable
  • Provide input into the company's product roadmap and packaging based on customer feedback and market trends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AWS (e.g., VPCs, EC2, RDS, security, scalability) is beneficial
  • Experience working with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise or Microsoft Teams Calling is advantageous
  • Knowledge of hospitality platforms (e.g., Opera, Duve, HotelKey) is a plus
