Join DWC as a Pricing Analyst and contribute to a dynamic, growing company. Reporting to the Director of Pricing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive pricing strategy. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience in pricing analysis, and the ability to collaborate with various departments. You will leverage data-driven insights to optimize pricing, conduct competitor analysis, and present findings to stakeholders. Requirements
- Possess a Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Have 2+ years of experience as a pricing consultant or in-house pricing strategy owner
- Demonstrate a successful track record of driving pricing transformation and execution
- Possess proven experience as a Pricing Analyst or similar role
- Have the ability to look at strategic and long-term consequences of pricing actions
- Possess strong project management skills and experience driving cross-functional pricing initiatives
- Be willing to travel up to 5% annually
- Be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 pounds, occasional bending and reaching
- Be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison and coordinator between sales, procurement and finance departments to determine and keep current collective pricing goals
- Develop and implement a data-driven comprehensive pricing strategy that aligns with company wide goals and initiatives and drive alignment across business stakeholders
- Monitor, track and evaluate the daily performance of pricing on individual part numbers as well as entire product groups and share relevant data and trends with key stakeholders
- Utilize data analytical tools to create and present interactive dashboards and reports for stakeholders
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify pricing opportunities and threats
- Monitor and evaluate pricing performance metrics to recommend adjustments as necessary
- Assist in the development of pricing policies and strategies based on comprehensive analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Have SQL server and database structure experience
- Have familiarity with Acumatica, Looker or similar BI tools
- Possess strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
- Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
