Principal Analytics Consultant

Summary

Join Aimpoint Digital, a leading analytics consulting firm, as a Principal Analytics Consultant. Lead client projects, manage teams, and cultivate client relationships. Identify and develop new business opportunities while improving internal data analytics practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage analytics for business value through automation, visualization, and BI modernization. Utilize expertise to develop minimum viable products and implement large-scale initiatives. This hybrid role demands deep technical skills to coach team members and solve complex problems.

Requirements

• Expert in data analysis, process automation, and/or data visualization
• Deep expertise with at least one of: Dataiku, Alteryx, Power BI/Power Platform, Sigma, SQL or Python
• 7+ years analytics experience
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills, able to work independently, and proactively lead projects, initiatives and people
• Strong business acumen
• Team players who are comfortable working proactively and independently
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Lead client project work and oversee project delivery and team members
• Manage client relationships
• Identify and influence new business opportunities
• Drive internal initiatives to improve the Data Analytics practice
• Work with stakeholders across all levels of an organization to determine how to create business value through analytics process automation, data visualization, and/or BI modernization and migration engagements
• Lead the development of minimum viable products, building of production data applications, and/or implementation of large-scale strategic modernization initiatives to help clients optimize value from their BI analytics platform investments

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years consulting experience
• Expertise with Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, Looker or other data visualization platforms
• Experience working with relational database technologies such as Databricks, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Redshift, or Snowflake
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
