Requirements

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Have at least 7 years of experience in customer analytics, data analysis, or a related field. Have a proven track record of driving actionable insights and delivering platform solutions, capabilities, and test & learn opportunities
  • Have strong knowledge of customer metrics (e.g., Customer lifetime value, churn, NPS) and their applications
  • Have demonstrated aptitude for leading in multiple contexts, such as with data engineers, data scientists, finance, product managers, strategists and executives
  • Be proficient in SQL and data visualization tools
  • Have expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques
  • Have hands-on experience in experimental design and measurement, including the math and statistics necessary to interpret and make informed decisions about results
  • Have excellent skills in summarizing insights verbally and in writing. Explain complex ideas in simple terms, suitable for all audiences, while also having a deep understanding to provide detailed explanations when necessary
  • Understand how foundational data architecture impacts all products and processes downstream, and have experience building optimized foundations. Understand the software development lifecycle and have demonstrated experience building analytics products
  • Have the ability to collaborate with others and drive data-informed decisions
  • Be proactive and demonstrate the ability to have the answers before the questions are asked
  • Have excellent project management skills to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and QA customer datasets across business units. Ensure accuracy, reliability, and easy consumption of data for analytics. Partner closely with data engineering teams
  • Lead on customer level metrics definitions through data governance
  • Operationalize customer measurement (scorecards, dashboards, driver trees, cohorts, etc.)
  • Build AI powered diagnostic tools for customer retention and churn metrics. Understand the relationships with other business metrics to identify problems and opportunities faster
  • Leverage advanced analytics to forecast customer behavior and proactively mitigate risks
  • Provide thought leadership in enriching customer data to gather signals from the entire customer journey that will serve various business needs such as pricing, personalization, recommendations, etc
  • Deliver customer insights that lead to higher experiment velocity to increase customer engagement, product usage and customer lifetime value
  • Foster positive relationships with product, marketing, strategy, and finance teams to craft and implement strategies to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and cross-selling opportunities
  • Lead the development of standard processes for customer analytics, particularly in subscription-based businesses
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, promoting a culture of curiosity and analytical rigor

  • Have experience in Amazon QuickSight
  • Have knowledge of subscription-based business models
