Requirements

  • MBA or advanced degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field preferred, with 8–10+ years of progressive HR/OD experience, including at least 5+ years operating at a senior strategic HRBP level or equivalent
  • Background supporting technology teams at a mid stage software/technology company with fewer than 1,000 employees. Experience in insurance, financial or related industries is a plus
  • Proven track record in leader enablement, organizational development, and change management for fast‑growing or transformation‑focused organizations
  • Strong experience in process design, operational improvement, employee relations and cross‑functional problem‑solving in complex or highly regulated environments
  • Experience enabling leadership effectiveness at scale and across all levels
  • Comfort with and curiosity to experiment and apply AI in HR, organizational and leadership contexts
  • Demonstrated ability to influence leaders at all levels, challenge assumptions, and deliver results
  • Deep knowledge of federal and state employment laws and ability to proactively mitigate people-related risks
  • Proven success and comfort in navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and multi-phase transformation initiatives
  • Exceptional communication skills—able to adapt style, distill complex ideas, and inspire action

Responsibilities

  • Act as a thought partner to functional and executive leaders, ensuring alignment with company strategy, culture, and values
  • Partner cross‑functionally to ensure leadership and people systems are consistent, scalable, and aligned enterprise‑wide
  • Lead the execution of integrated People Plans for each supported function, ensuring talent, structure, and capability needs are met for both current and future growth
  • Design and deliver cascaded communications, storytelling frameworks, and manager enablement tools for functional adoption
  • Execute on leadership operating systems and models; run Director‑level capability building
  • Develop and deploy change management playbooks and communications for supported function and cross‑functional transformations
  • Facilitate process improvement sprints to drive operational efficiency, scalability, and cross‑team collaboration
  • Establish an HR AI Test Lab to explore and pilot AI‑driven solutions for people processes and leadership enablement
  • Oversee and continuously improve performance management processes—training leaders to deliver feedback and drive results
  • Partner with members of the PaC team to design and implement scalable, data‑driven people solutions
  • Utilize data to identify, inform and validate success of people actions and programs
  • Assess supported function development needs, make evidence‑based recommendations, and implement tailored solutions
  • Collaborate on compensation strategy for supported functions, ensuring competitiveness and equity in partnership with Total Rewards
  • Analyze advanced people analytics and AI insights to inform and influence leaders to take meaningful action and track program effectiveness
  • Anticipate and mitigate people‑related risks, ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws across supported functions
