Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience or certifications/courses
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Product Manager or similar roles in SaaS/cloud-driven companies
  • At least 5 years of management experience
  • Advanced ability to deal with difficult/problem situations and maintain a professional demeanor, at all times
  • Advanced ability to coach employees, helping them improve their skills and grow
  • Advanced understanding of technical problems and communicating technical solutions
  • Expert in stakeholder management
  • Expert in technical documentation
  • Expert in product strategy, planning, feature prioritization
  • Expert in managing product roadmap
  • Expert gaming industry knowledge and understanding of AccelByte’s products or similar services
  • Expert in performing data-driven analysis
  • Advanced experience in PC, Console, Mobile and VR development
  • Expert in ticketing and bug-tracking solutions (Jira, etc.)
  • Advanced experience in the SaaS/managed services industry
  • Advanced experience in modern software development and operational tools and process
  • Experience at a AAA game studio or a software product company is preferred
  • Experience working with cloud platforms or web products is preferred
  • Previous professional software experience of any kind is preferred
  • Experience working in a multinational technology startup is highly preferred
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English language
  • Flexibility to adjust to work routines/schedules

Responsibilities

  • Setting the practice of hands-on design collaborations together with design and engineering team members
  • Engage with customers, as well as perform market research/product discovery to plan, define and deliver product
  • Establish a clear organizational context and strategy
  • Retain the right managers and product people for your organization
  • Collaboratively work with/lead Accelbyte’s team of engineers, designers, sales and business teams to develop concepts and solve complex real-world challenges
  • Direct first-person workflow & usability studies, field research, and market analysis
  • Define and direct our approach to developer community management and developer support mechanisms
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products, develop insights, and implement improvements
  • Be familiar with similar and competing products in the marketplace
  • Contribute to the team or company to improve the quality or effectiveness of the work by making initiatives
  • Coach the product/program/project managers and create individual growth plans for their career development
  • Help identify and evaluate market trends, opportunities, and areas of focus and winning strategies for future projects
  • Benchmark features, content, game design across the industry and present insights to creative directors and product directors to drive change in their projects
  • Present data-supported summaries and recommendations to improve products within your genre of expertise
  • Manage risk for strategic objectives
  • Develop a process for analyzing game performance, building recommendations for feature prioritization, analyzing key performance indicators of post-release features, and rigorously testing/optimizing them
  • Build the feature roadmaps and meet with executives to bring incremental growth to the business
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Base Salary: CAD 140,000 - 200,000 / year
