Requirements
- Proven track record of designing and implementing cloud-based APIs, especially within regulated industries such as financial services
- Deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of APIs in financial institutions, including security, compliance, and scalability
- Experience working with and building Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solutions, connectors, and workflows. Ability to design and manage complex integrations across diverse systems
- Extensive experience building cloud platforms at scale. Strong knowledge of platform roadmap development, commercial approaches, and essential cloud infrastructure components such as VPC, extensibility, and security standards
- Demonstrated ability to partner with technical teams, make strategic decisions, and drive projects to completion. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based APIs tailored for the financial services industry. Ensure these APIs are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry regulations
- Define deployment models that cater to different customer needs, including on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud deployment environments. Develop best practices for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
- Collaborate with customers to understand their cloud connectivity requirements and operating model. Design solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing cloud deployments, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange
- Build and manage different interfaces such as Event-Driven Architectures (EDA), file-based reconciliation systems, and data warehouse integrations. Ensure these interfaces are optimized for performance, reliability, and compliance
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and GTM teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs. Participate in architectural reviews and design discussions to ensure alignment with the companyβs technical vision
- Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure that relevant aspects of the platform adhere to these standards. Work with the compliance team to implement necessary changes and updates
