Requirements
- 10-15 years of product management experience, ideally with a background in manufacturing, factory floor systems, or supply chain technology
- Previous experience building or integrating an MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and complementary systems (MRP, ERP, WFM)
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with engineering, design, and operational teams
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and drive alignment at all levels of the organization
- Comfortable operating in a highly ambiguous space where the business problem and strategy are not yet defined
- High bias for actionβyou are resourceful, proactive, and excel at breaking down barriers to get things done
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions
- Customer-focused mindset and the ability to empathize with operational users, designing intuitive workflows and systems that address real-world challenges
- Technical fluency, with an understanding of APIs and system integrations (you donβt need to code but must be comfortable engaging in technical discussions)
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing the lifecycle of complex cross-functional technology initiatives, handling both tactical and strategic needs
Responsibilities
- Define the vision and strategy for our MES, production planning, and scheduling systems to support efficient design and manufacturing operations at scale
- Champion operational users by developing deep empathy for their workflows and pain points and ensuring the solutions meet their needs
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, S&OP, and sales teams, to ensure seamless integration between planning and production execution
- Drive end-to-end product development, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and subsequent iterations
- Develop deep expertise in manufacturing workflows, production orchestration, and planning processes, ensuring solutions reflect best practices and emerging trends in the industry
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to define detailed product requirements, working side-by-side with them to deliver high-quality, scalable software
- Leverage data insights to guide decision-making, validate assumptions, and measure the success of your initiatives
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategy and prioritization of opportunities
- Communicate clearly and transparently with your teams and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of context, goals, and progress
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building systems for supply chain orchestration, scheduling, or planning
- Time spent at a manufacturing-focused or operationally intensive company
- SQL knowledge and comfort working with data to extract insights
- Experience at a venture-backed startup during a phase of hypergrowth
- Experience at an operationally-intensive company
- Comfortable with writing SQL queries
- Previous experience in the dental or medical industries
