Principal Project Manager

This role requires a strong background in developing project plans, stakeholder management, and a solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies. The position functions as a Technical Program Manager, encompassing Agile Practitioner, Project Manager, Release Manager, Tools Administrator, and Efficiency Consultant responsibilities. We welcome fully remote candidates across Romania. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience managing software development projects and possess excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Suvoda is a global clinical trial technology company experiencing significant growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with project management concepts, principles, and practices
• Deep understanding of SDLC and scaled agile using industry standard methodologies
• Ability to manage projects of large scope and high complexity
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and capability of influencing without authority
• At least 8 years of professional experience in managing software development projects

Responsibilities

• Develop project plan with scope, milestones, schedules, and resources
• Track project progress and report project status to all stakeholders
• Manage and track changes to scope, priorities, schedules and resources
• Work closely with development and QA managers to coordinate task schedule and resource allocation, resolve conflicts, and maintain full visibility of multiple projects
• Anticipate, manage and resolve issues and act as the point of contact for the project
• Ensure project documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review
• Identify and mitigate any potential issue that may impact the deliverables of software releases
• Work with development and QA managers to streamline and refine practices
• Perform other duties as required
