Summary

Join our team as a Principal Sales Engineer and lead solution selling by delivering thought leadership to companies throughout the sales cycle. As the front face of the revenue generation team, you will use technical and sales skills to position and differentiate the Innovapptive platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years of experience in field service management
  • Minimum of 7 years strong Pre-sales or Solution Engineering experience in Enterprise Asset Management or Supply Chain

Responsibilities

  • Research prospects, including but not limited to, annual reports, and investor presentations, latest news along with industry trends to develop a point of view
  • Delivers feedback to the product team and leads Innovapptive executive briefings on new trends
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to pre-sales engineers, fostering professional development and supporting the team in achieving technical and strategic goals
  • Assist the sales personnel in the qualification of Enterprise customer needs and performing pre-demo needs analysis
  • Demonstrations of the product, both standard and tailored to prospects and existing customers, both onsite and via web conference
  • Capture prospect/customer requirements and work with sales to write solution proposals detailing how Innovapptive’s solutions will address business needs
  • Create necessary documentation, presentations, and product demonstrations to teach clients about Innovapptive functionality and the value proposition
  • Participation in one or more strategic accounts either in support or lead
  • Provide mentoring and training to peers and other colleagues in the organization
  • Scoping and delivering Proof of Concept/Pilot engagements with prospects
  • Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents
  • Supporting Marketing events – user conferences, trade shows, webinars etc
  • Staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors
  • In conjunction with Sales Personnel and Professional Services, conduct transition briefing - communicate commitments, expectations etc in preparation for deployment
  • Act as the Innovapptive subject matter expert at Executive briefings/marketing events
  • Understand sales process as it relates to Innovapptive’s overall strategies and objectives
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in O&G, Energy and Utilities, Manufacturing and Mining or similar industries is strongly preferred
