Requirements

  • Excellent organization, strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent ability to manage and grow relationships with both internal and external partners
  • Knowledge of paper and print technologies including litho, digital/POD, web and inline capabilities
  • Knowledge of digital pre-press
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Acrobat Pro, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • BA/BS degree is required
  • You have 10+ years of experience as a print production manager within an agency
  • Experience using GSuite and Acrobat Pro is required

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple print projects of varying complexity
  • Work closely with creative teams, PMs, vendors, and suppliers to align on budgets, timelines, and production requirements
  • Reverse engineer creative concepts into actionable production strategies
  • Define detailed specs, source suppliers, and submit timely production estimates
  • Ensure on-time, within-budget delivery by managing scope, vendor relationships, and approvals
  • Set up studio tasks, oversee deliverables, and approve proofs alongside art directors
  • Identify and negotiate with suppliers as needed, issue purchase orders, and manage print approvals
  • Troubleshoot challenges, proactively resolve issues, and ensure production quality
  • Stay professional, adaptable, and solution-oriented
  • Listen actively, collaborate transparently, and take ownership
  • Foster relationships, champion innovation, and continuously improve
  • Own outcomes, escalate challenges when necessary, and work as a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Print Production accreditation is an asset, but not required
  • Pharma/Healthcare experience is an asset
  • Print and Lettershop experience is preferred
  • Integrated Production experience is an asset
