Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Category Management roles
  • 2+ years of experience in team-leading roles (as a Category Manager Lead, Business Development Manager, or other related leading positions), preferably in apparel or fashion industry
  • Strong leadership skills, and a track record of developing and managing high-performance teams
  • Proven experience in managing large product catalogs and driving revenue growth through collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting complex data sets, extracting insights, and presenting clear, actionable recommendations to management
  • Proficiency in data and analytics tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and Power BI
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving measurable outcomes
  • Strong proficiency in English and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Set Apparel group strategic direction; develop and drive initiatives in alignment with company objectives
  • Follow, analyze, and report Apparel group results against KPIs and make data-driven decisions based on the analysis
  • Lead a team of product category managers and associates, fostering a collaborative and performance driven culture
  • Proactively, independently, and frequently identify revenue opportunities and drive them to execution without the need for explicit direction
  • Manage and refine the existing product catalog to ensure we maintain our market leadership; guarantee the competitiveness and quality of our products meet customer expectations
  • Lead the creation and execution of a new Apparel product roadmap; ensure alignment with e-commerce trends, merchant needs, and business objectives to maximize revenue
  • Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to inform stakeholders about new product and initiative roadmap
  • Collaborate with sourcing, onboarding, design, and in-house development teams to bring new products to the catalogs
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, maximizing revenue potential across core and new product selections
  • Collaborate with product teams to improve new merchant onboarding journey, product discoverability in the catalog, and improve product creation experience
