Process Improvement Specialist III

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in process improvement, project management, or a related field with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 8 years of relevant professional experience with a Master’s Degree
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role

Responsibilities

• Highly experienced in gathering and analyzing data to solve complex problems and produce finished reports, such as requirements definition and operations research
• Lead the planning and execution of projects from inception through completion
• Supervise multi-faceted research and technical support to projects and programs
• Develop and monitor project tasks and schedules
• Manage the work efforts of large project teams, including Process Improvement Specialists at level 1 and 2
• Perform with a moderate degree of latitude for unreviewed actions and decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
• Certifications such as Six Sigma, PMP, or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working on federal contracts, especially with the Department of Veterans Affairs
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large project teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
