Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to a state bar and in good standing
- 5+ years of in-house experience as an attorney, with a focus on procurement contracts
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a breadth of procurement contracts
- Continuously improve contract management processes
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on legal aspects of procurement processes
- Identify and assess legal, operational and practical risks associated with procurement activities
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to address legal issues and support procurement activities
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all procurement-related legal documents and correspondence
- Support the management of supplier relationships by providing legal guidance on issues such as performance disputes, contract breaches, and compliance matters
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with customer-facing contracts, or with risk management or compliance is a plus but not required
