Requirements

  • Have relevant sales experience in trucking/fleet industry, preferably in the fleet operations space
  • Have experience executing tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives
  • Have experience working with in the OEM space
  • Have effective organization and time management skills
  • Have knowledge of e-commerce, market and industry trends, competitors, and customer purchasing trends
  • Have strong reporting and data rationalization abilities
  • Have professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Have excellent relationship building skills with the ability to influence
  • Have the ability to travel frequently

Responsibilities

  • Provide an annual Sales Plan along with quarterly updates and bi-weekly reports
  • In coordination with the RVP, establish target customer sales strategies including A-B-C customer prioritization and outreach
  • Achieve annual new business sales objectives by successfully leveraging existing relationships and developing new relationships in the assigned region which positively impact profitability
  • Provide quality consultative services to clients to thoroughly understand their needs and ensure Corcentric services provide maximum value
  • Maintain assigned territory baseline sales and achieve sales quotas and objectives
  • Develop market strategies including customer and prospect awareness initiatives, town hall meetings, maintenance associations etc
  • Identify new service offerings and work closely with colleagues to expand services and profitability
  • Develop and foster good supplier relationships across all levels but primarily in the field
  • Develop new customer engagement strategies as well as enhancing existing customers' spend within our programs
  • Manage the needs of assigned customers and prospects in order to meet the objectives of the company's overall business plans and strategies
  • Execute a territory plan designed to generate new business and to retain and grow existing business
  • Conduct field sales calls and scheduling functions
  • Collaborate with telemarketing efforts, and all customer support functions of the business
  • Champion the Corcentric value proposition
