Procurement Operations Consultant

Summary

Join Harbor's growing Vendor Governance + Sourcing (VG+S) team as a Consultant! You'll support the procurement lifecycle, acting as a liaison between requestors and the procurement team. This role demands attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams and clients, leveraging internal resources, creating presentations, developing strategic solutions, and managing project plans. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 1-3 years of procurement or consulting experience. Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain or Operations
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a procurement related role or consulting team-oriented environment focused on strategic sourcing, procurement, process improvement, and/or project management
• Permanent U.S./Canadian work authorization

Responsibilities

• Work internally with cross-functional teams as well as externally with clients to facilitate requirements gathering
• Leverage internal intellectual property and research to support a point of view on best practices
• Play a key role in creating and delivering presentations
• Generate creative, strategic solutions
• Develop project plans to facilitate implementation
• Support ad hoc practice operations and business development projects, as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Functional knowledge of procurement processes, procurement related technology, and experience in client interaction
• Occasional up to 25% travel may be required (domestic or international)
