Summary
Join WorkWave's Procurement team as a Procurement Specialist! You will support the VP of Contracts & Procurement and other teams in administering procurement processes, ensuring compliance. Responsibilities include developing and administering RFPs, contracts, and purchase orders, negotiating supplier agreements, and collaborating with finance and legal. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and strong organizational and communication skills are required. Prior procurement experience and expertise with relevant software are preferred. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, and administer request for proposals, contracts, and purchase orders that meet specifications and comply with the policies of WorkWave
- Support or participate in the negotiations of supplier or partner agreements
- Collaborate with the finance and legal teams as well as other stakeholders when facilitating the procurement process
- Review supplier contract terms to identify any potential risks or compliance issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with procurement, accounting, legal, contract management (i.e., compliance, lifecycle management, negotiation, contract management and administration, reviewing terms and conditions)
- Expertise with procurement software and purchase order processes
- Expertise with contract management software or legal research tools
- General knowledge of legal, accounting, and contract terminology
