Product Analyst

Summary

Join M-KOPA as an Eligibility Product Analyst and contribute to building transformative financial partnerships with customers. You will determine loan eligibility criteria, develop loan offers and pricing, and ensure loans are both desirable and affordable. This role offers significant customer and business impact, requiring collaboration with a diverse team across multiple countries. You will continuously improve loan offers and eligibility criteria to drive growth while managing credit losses and margins. The position is fully remote within a specified time zone. Requirements

• Several years in roles with significant analysis components
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to conduct your own analysis of unstructured data
• Ability to write your own SQL queries and source your own data sets
• Proven ability in solving ambiguous / high-level analytical problems
• Strong data communication skills — written, oral, and visual
• Ability to work with diverse, distributed teams across multiple countries
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Analyze M-KOPA’s repayments data and other data to continuously improve our loan eligibility criteria
• Develop new loan offers and pricing based on customer demand and credit analysis
• Monitor the credit performance of your loans to identify where we need to adjust eligibility criteria and/or pricing
• Test the predictiveness of new data sets for the purposes of eligibility criteria
• Test new types of loans to understand customer demand and credit performance
• Work with engineers to implement changes to our eligibility criteria
• Work with data scientists to leverage machine learning models as part of loan eligibility decisions
