Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to collect and analyze data, align on key metrics, generate insights, and communicate recommendations. Conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior, conversion levers, and communication between merchants and customers. Perform ad-hoc analysis using SQL, Python, and BI tools. Concisely convey complex ideas to stakeholders and leverage data to identify and influence tangible business gains. Focus on product A/B testing and deep-dive analyses to ensure successful feedback loops for product managers. This role requires a quantitative background and significant experience with SQL and Python, along with experience working with BI tools and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- You ideally have a degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Econometrics, Business etc.)
- You have at least 3-5 years of working experience in SQL and Python
- You have experience working with BI tools (Looker / Tableau / Power BI / etc.)
- Experience working with business stakeholders and turning data into interesting stories
- You are a creative problem solver
Responsibilities
- You will foster data-driven decision making by drive measurement, analysis, and testing initiatives supporting product development
- In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of product management, analytics, and engineers, you will collect and tap into the underlying data, align on key metrics/methodologies, generate insights, and communicate them into recommendations that enable the team to make the right decisions
- You will work closely with Product Teams to conduct in-depth analysis of user behaviour, conversion levers and communication between merchants and customers
- You will do ad-hoc analysis of specific requests from all departments using SQL, Python, Looker etc
- You will convey complex ideas in a simple way to enable stakeholders to make informed decisions
- You will leverage data to identify, quantify and influence tangible business gain
- You will focus on product A/B tests, carrying out deep dive analyses to ensure a successful feedback loop for product managers
Preferred Qualifications
You have knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Big Query, Google Optimize
