Product Designer

Summary

The job at RubiconMD is for a Product Designer who will own visual and workflow design, collaborate with the design team, work with product management and engineering to identify product direction, conduct user tests, share design decisions, iterate on designs based on feedback, and demonstrate adaptability, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, a user-centric mindset, attention to detail, creativity, and analytical approach. The desired qualifications include 1-2 years' experience as a product/UX designer, understanding of product design processes, proficiency with industry standard design tools, and authorization to work in the U.S. Experience in healthtech or healthcare is a plus. The target salary range is $85,000-105,000, and the role is eligible for employee benefits and other compensation.

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ experience as a product/ux designer
• Can demonstrate understanding of product design processes from discovery to delivery, with artifacts showcasing information architecture, user experience, and interaction design
• Understanding of product design systems thinking and interaction patterns
• Proficiency with industry standard design tools: Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, etc
• Authorized to work in the U.S

Responsibilities

• Own visual and workflow design for several features and products
• Collaborate with the rest of the design team to evolve and refine our design system, ensuring visual cohesion and engineering efficiency across all user touchpoints
• Team with product management and engineering to identify product direction, feature set and behaviors for our products
• Plan and run user tests and other design research to inform design decisions
• Share and articulate your informed design decisions with team members and stakeholders
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from team members when appropriate

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in healthtech or healthcare a plus

Benefits

• The target salary range for this position is $85,000-105,000 and we anticipate that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. Compensation for the successful candidate will be determined by the candidate’s unique combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience
• This role is also eligible for employee benefits and other compensation
