Summary

Heretic Ventures is seeking a merchandise product development associate with 1-2 years of experience in product design or manufacturing for a hybrid role involving managing communication with manufacturers, handling end-to-end product development processes, and training manufacturers on best practices. The role is based in San Francisco.

Requirements

• 1 ~ 2 years of experience in product design, product development, or manufacturing within the fashion and design goods industry
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and troubleshoot issues
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving

Responsibilities

• Manage back and forth communication with manufacturer to develop sign-off sample for production
• Handle end-to-end process including CAD development and refinement, including writing detailed instructions and information for CAD designers and manufacturer
• Handle manufacturer questions on incoming orders related to CAD development, manufacturing, and quality
• Train manufacturers on best practices, escalation procedures, and brand standards
• Escalate critical issues to the management team

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with CAD software and product development processes is a plus
