Summary

Join Sagent, a company dedicated to simplifying and securing loans and homeownership, as a Senior Product Manager. You will play a key role in shaping the future of Sagent's innovative products, empowering clients in the mortgage industry to streamline operations and enhance customer experiences. This position requires a deep understanding of mortgage servicing processes, experience with ADO (Azure DevOps), and expertise in crafting user features and stories. Proficiency in Tempo is also essential. You will lead and inspire a team of Product & Business Analysts, oversee Loss Mitigation products, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused products. You will also conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, and/or related field and 5+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior Product Management position, within a SaaS or financial technology company
  • 3+ years of experience in loan servicing, including any area, such as Support
  • Previous experience managing software product or educational equivalent. (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, 280 Group, others.)
  • 3+ years of experience working on an Agile team in SaaS product management
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly
  • Experience with integrating new products with current systems
  • Strong ability and experience with product demonstrations for outside sales
  • Experience developing Go To Market Strategies and work with marketing to create marketing materials for new products
  • Experience creating business cases, leading development teams and coordinating road maps for future development
  • Strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving products to completion
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable using data to inform decision-making and product improvements
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20%)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a clear product strategy and roadmap aligned with the Default Product vision & overall objectives
  • Drive innovation in loss mitigation servicing technology, ensuring our products remain at the forefront of the industry
  • Lead and inspire a team of Product & Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
  • Oversee the Loss Mitigation products, providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including, engineering, marketing, and sales, to deliver high-quality, customer-focused products
  • Utilize ADO (Azure DevOps) to manage and track project progress, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables in the context of loss mitigation strategies
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscapes
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback and insights to inform product enhancements and new feature development
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes in the mortgage industry and ensure that our products comply with all relevant standards and requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred have experience management experience, and managing a team
  • Invoice Management experience preferable
