Summary
Join Figma's growing team as a Product Manager to lead AI research and product development, focusing on AI experiences within and outside the Figma platform. You will collaborate with the AI Research team to develop new models and work with Product and Design teams to shape user interaction. This full-time role can be based in a US hub or remotely within the US. You will build a strong understanding of AI technology in design, define a vision and roadmap for AI-driven user experiences, and partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize model improvements. Requirements
- 3+ years of product management experience
- Proven track record shipping and iterating on AI features that drive impact
- Experience working in a fast-paced, scrappy environment
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of AI technology in the design space - its constraints, strengths and weaknesses in a fast evolving environment
- Understand workflows and use cases for Designers inside of Figma
- Define a vision and roadmap for AI driven user experiences, motivating model research and guiding product development with clear requirements
- Partner with a wide range of cross-functional partners across Product, Design, Engineering, Research and Data Science to prioritize model improvements across a range of features
- Partner with Engineering to set strategy and priorities for teams and projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI model training, evaluation and iteration
- Ability to communicate clearly at different altitudes, including driving alignment with senior stakeholders
- An affinity for the fast-paced, changing environment of a start-up, a sense of humor and get-it-done personality
- Experience scaling AI solutions across multiple internal teams through frameworks and best practices
- Partnering with academic institutes and other research organizations
