Summary
Join Supermetrics' Product team as an experienced Product Manager, based in Helsinki, Dublin, or the UK. Lead the vision for the Supermetrics API, ensuring it aligns with company goals and customer needs. You will be the voice of the customer, gathering insights to improve the API. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful feature releases and track key metrics to measure success. Prioritize features on the roadmap, balancing customer needs and strategic priorities. Guide initiatives through various phases, working with development teams in an agile environment. Create clear product requirements using user stories.
Requirements
- Have proven experience as a Product Manager with a focus on APIs and developer-facing products
- Have strong written and spoken communication skills in English
- Have a solid understanding of API technologies and developer workflows
- Have experience working in an agile environment
- Have a passion for translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable value
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy for the Supermetrics API, ensuring it aligns with our vision and customers' needs
- Be the voice of the customer, collecting insights from them and internal stakeholders to continuously improve and expand the value of our API
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful feature release and adoption
- Track key metrics to measure the success and adoption of API products and inform future initiatives
- Prioritize features and improvements on the roadmap, balancing customers' needs and strategic priorities
- Guide initiatives through ideation, discovery, delivery and adoption phases
- Work alongside product development teams to discover, plan and build in an agile-first approach following our software delivery lifecycle (SDLC)
- Create clear and concise product requirements through user stories that follow the rules of INVEST
Preferred Qualifications
- Have technical experience, either from an engineering background or technically-focussed product roles
- Have familiarity with API security principles, scalability, and performance optimization
- Have a customer-first approach with experience of prioritising and integrating customer feedback
- Have a fail-fast mentality with a key focus on validation and prototyping to test hypotheses
- Have experience in working with sales and marketing functions to position and promote technical products
- Have experience working in a SaaS-based MarTech business
- Have experience working in a global organisation with remote teams across multiple timezones
- Have familiarity with developer tools and SDKs
