Product Manager

Summary

Join Actian, a leading data management solutions provider, as a Product Manager to oversee the development and delivery of our ZEN product. You will lead ZEN product development projects from inception to completion, developing detailed project plans and coordinating cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include monitoring project progress, managing risks, ensuring quality, and communicating project status. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, proven Product Management experience in software/technology, strong database technology understanding, and excellent communication and leadership skills. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Product Manager in the software or technology industry
• Strong understanding of database technologies, particularly embedded databases
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the ZEN product development projects from inception to completion
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations
• Communicate project status, issues, and successes to stakeholders and senior management
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or similar project management certification
• Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with IoT and edge computing solutions
• Experience in working with developers' communities
• Familiarity with similar No SQL database technology or similar database products
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
