Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in product management, or product marketing
- 3+ years’ experience as a product manager for a B2B2C product
- 3+ years’ experience working in the payments and/or fintech industry
- 3+ years’ experience working on user-facing products
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and contribute to user experience design
- Experience working with offshore teams
- Demonstrated ability to frame complex analytical problems, pull data, and extract insights that led to tangible business results
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, operating with a sense of urgency to deliver customer value and find product market fit
- High technical aptitude with the ability to understand system architecture and meaningfully contribute to building a robust tech stack (ability to understand the tech stack conceptually; its strengths and limitations)
- Experience working with lean and MVP methodology
- The ability to easily engage in both business-focused and technology-focused conversations
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to internal executive stakeholders and external customers
Responsibilities
- Manage a new remittance product from ideation through development to launch, growth, and maintenance
- Communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences
- Partner with the Director of Product to develop a vision for the product
- Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytics tools, and A/B testing; utilize both qualitative customer insights and quantitative customer data to inform decisions
- Develop and own metrics to monitor and quantify the impact of the new features that you launch
- Use site metrics, stakeholder interviews, and industry trends to identify product enhancements and opportunities
- Align with engineering to understand technical implementation complexities and challenges of enabling unregulated entities through APIs, SDKs, and process automation
- Actively participate in the agile product development process
- Build and own the backlog the dev team works and delivers from
- Write and communicate release notes across all required channels and to all appropriate parties
- Take on additional tasks and projects, as assigned
