Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on platform or SaaS products in the hospitality or property management industry
  • Proven experience in developing features for mid-market or larger enterprises, especially those with complex operational needs
  • Strong proficiency in technical APIs and integrations methodology within the hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) and their role within the hospitality industry, as well as platform scalability best practices
  • Familiarity with Central Reservation Systems (CRS) and their role within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to executing product roadmaps
  • Analytical skills with experience using data to inform product decisions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or MBA is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end implementation of distribution-related integrations, ensuring optimal connectivity from channel partner through to the Cloudbeds application
  • Understand and optimize the entire distribution lifecycle - from rate, inventory, and content setup to booking import and ingestion
  • Optimize the greater Cloudbeds application in order to meet the complex needs of mid-sized and larger properties, in the context of Distribution feature delivery
  • Ensure the delivery of scalable, accurate, and efficient solutions that can adapt to the needs of growing and diverse customer bases
  • Conduct market research and gather customer insights to define and prioritize features that maximize value for property managers and owners
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize platform performance and address technical challenges
  • Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements, and constraints for engineering initiatives and product releases
  • Collaborate closely with external distribution partners throughout the integration lifecycle and beyond
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and objectives
  • Work closely with property managers, owners, and operations teams to gather feedback and translate their needs into actionable product requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to deliver features on time and within scope
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to articulate the value and functionality of platform enhancements
  • Define success metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the performance of new features and overall platform health
  • Use data and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement of the platform

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working directly in hospitality, preferably in a distribution or revenue management role for mid-market or larger hotels or chains
