Summary
Join our expanding team as a Product Manager for immunization information system software! We're looking for a passionate individual with 3+ years of relevant experience in software product management, a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, and a desire to improve public health technology. You'll be responsible for prioritizing work, producing detailed requirements, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience in a software Product Manager role
- 3+ years of experience leveraging Agile (Scrum) methodologies and processes
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft tools (Azure DevOps, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
- Experience with UI/UX design
- Experience ensuring accessibility compliance, specifically with Section 508 requirements
- Microsoft Power BI
- Strong interest in Product Management and Agile Methodologies
- Strong understanding of product development processes, from ideation to launch
- Self-starter willing to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with internal and external audiences
- Must work well in a team environment
- Ability to produce high quality work in a timely fashion
- Ability to quickly understand the existing systems and analyze the system impact of changes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated to learn and keep up with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our clients to understand their needs and create products to solve their problems
- Work with our scrum teams to ensure they fully understand the vision for new products and features to successfully deliver value to our clients
- Prioritize work for our scrum teams to ensure they are working on the most relevant efforts to meet our organization’s goals
- Produce detailed software and data requirements, as well as use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Produce business process flow diagrams using Visio or other tools
- Conduct joint application development (JAD) meetings with end users, developers, and client engagement managers
- Demo new features to internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization
- Management of scrum team’s assigned development efforts, ensuring that projects complete on time and within budget
