Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally working on content discovery, browse, personalization, or similar product areas
  • Proven experience with A/B testing, data-driven decision-making, and metrics analysis
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and data scientists
  • Strong understanding of user-centric product design and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable product features
  • Familiarity with recommendation systems, search algorithms, and personalization techniques
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present product vision and strategy clearly to stakeholders
  • A mindset focused on seizing opportunities and moving with urgency
  • Dedication to fierce prioritization and operational excellence
  • Adaptability to a dynamic, fast-moving environment
  • Experience with e-commerce, marketplace, or social shopping platforms
  • Familiarity with machine learning models used in recommendation systems and content discovery
  • Experience in user research, journey mapping, and identifying user pain points in discovery and browsing flows

Responsibilities

  • Guide content discovery and personalization roadmap : Develop and execute a product strategy that drives engagement and user retention
  • Lead product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with the company goals and user needs
  • Enhance features across browse and personalization by improving browsing, search, and recommendation features. Utilize data insights to identify opportunities and build and optimize algorithms that deliver personalized content and product recommendations to users based on their shopping preferences and behaviors
  • Collaborate cross-functionally : Showcase exemplary partnership with Engineering, Design, Leadership, Marketing, and other cross-functional departments on new zero to one initiatives as well as optimizing and scaling current projects
  • Drive innovation in content discovery : Identify opportunities to enhance how users discover and browse across the platform, integrating new technologies and trends in content curation
  • Understand our users: Be a strong advocate for a data-driven approach to improving customer experience, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand our customer’s needs
  • Ensure scalability : Work on improving platform performance, ensuring that personalization and discovery features scale as our user base grows
