Summary

Join RethinkEd, an EdTech company focused on improving K-12 education, as a part-time, contract Product Marketing Manager. You will develop go-to-market strategies, messaging, and sales enablement assets. This role requires strong collaboration with various teams and a deep understanding of the education sector. Responsibilities include creating compelling marketing materials, conducting market research, and ensuring consistent brand messaging. The ideal candidate possesses proven experience in product marketing within EdTech or K-12 education, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for education.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Product Marketing, preferably in the K-12 Education or EdTech sector
  • Strong track record in positioning, messaging, and sales enablement for B2B or B2E (business-to-education) products
  • Familiarity with Mental Health, SEL, MTSS, Behavior Management, Special Education, and Professional Development topics and vocabulary
  • Strategic storytelling – Ability to translate complex educational challenges into compelling narratives that drive engagement
  • Collaboration & stakeholder management – Experience working across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
  • Exceptional writing & communication skills – Capable of crafting concise, persuasive messaging for both marketing and sales assets
  • Analytical mindset – Ability to leverage data, customer insights, and market trends to inform content and strategy
  • Proficiency in sales enablement tools, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, HubSpot, or similar CRM/marketing platforms)
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and digital marketing best practices
  • Experience working with designers, studio teams, and video production for marketing asset development

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, compelling messaging and value propositions for RethinkEd’s product suites, ensuring differentiation in the EdTech market
  • Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to understand key customer pain points and craft narratives that address those needs
  • Help develop and refine RethinkEd’s voice, tone, and messaging guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels
  • Create sales collateral such as product one-pagers, sales decks, brochures, and competitive battle cards to equip sales teams with compelling messaging and assets
  • Develop product training materials and internal guides to help sales teams effectively communicate product benefits to educators and district leaders
  • Assist in launching new product features and initiatives, developing campaign messaging, launch plans, and promotional content
  • Develop high-impact content including website copy, landing pages, case studies, thought leadership articles, video scripts, and email sequences that drive engagement and conversions
  • Work alongside the Web Marketing team to develop SEO-optimized product pages that improve visibility and organic reach
  • Develop content that speaks to decision-makers in districts, such as Superintendents, CAOs, Special Education Directors, and Student Services leaders
  • Conduct competitive research to identify positioning opportunities and gaps in the market
  • Gather customer insights and feedback to refine messaging and enhance product-market fit
  • Stay updated on industry trends, policy changes, and funding opportunities that impact K-12 districts and RethinkEd’s market positioning
