Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Experience: 9 years or more of proven experience in product marketing, with a focus on developing and executing go-to-market strategies and product positioning
  • Skills: Strong understanding of market research, product positioning, and marketing tactics. Proficiency in creating impactful marketing materials and managing cross-functional projects
  • Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, track performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate product value propositions and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Creative Thinking: Innovative mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving and campaign development
  • Passion: A deep passion for marketing and a drive to contribute to a social impact, purpose-driven organization

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product marketing strategy in alignment with overall business goals
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics
  • Develop clear, compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences
  • Create and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and updates
  • Provide the sales team with the tools, training, and support needed to effectively sell the product
  • Oversee the development of engaging and informative content related to the product
  • Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels
  • Develop detailed customer personas based on market research and customer feedback
  • Monitor and analyze competitors' products, marketing strategies, and market positioning
  • Manage all aspects of product launches
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous product improvements
  • Collaborate with finance and product teams to develop and adjust pricing strategies and promotional offers
  • Organize and manage product-related events, such as trade shows, webinars, and product demonstrations
  • Ensure all marketing materials and activities align with the company's brand strategy
  • Work closely with product management, sales, customer support, and other teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of product marketing strategies
  • Map out and optimize the customer journey from awareness to purchase and beyond
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget for product-related activities
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and market shifts to identify new opportunities
  • Regularly communicate product updates, marketing plans, and performance metrics to internal stakeholders
