Join Burwood Group, a leading technology consulting firm, as a Product Operations Specialist and play a crucial role in the pre-sales product procurement process. You will be responsible for managing the entire quote and order process, working closely with clients, account executives, vendors, and sales operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery. This role involves direct communication with vendors, negotiating costs, setting up order logistics, and assisting with backorder reports and invoice-related issues. You will also support account executives by acting as a dedicated member of the client management team, freeing up their time for other tasks. Requirements
- Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Technology or Business
- You have 3 or more years of Inside Sales, Client Service, Order Processing/Logistics experience required, preferably within the technology industry
Responsibilities
- As a Product Operations Specialist you will be responsible for the complete pre-sales product procurement process
- You will work closely with Clients, Account Executives, Vendors and Sales Operations to provide quick and accurate quote and order turnaround
- You will also support account executives by acting as a dedicated member of the client management team to free up time for the account executive
- Product / Net New Smartnet Quoting
- Order Processing / Procurement (Converting both client and internal quotes to orders / Importing to Great Plaines – Burwood Accounting System)
- Direct communication with vendors and partners (Some cost negotiations, setting up order logistics, billing/shipping and pricing terms)
- Assist CSAs with the backorder report / un-shipped orders
- Assist Accounts Payable team with invoice related issues
- Works with partners to request special pricing from vendors and manufactures and responsible for submitting deal registrations
- Expedite shipping requests / lead time requests
- Create basic Configs / Estimates in CCW
- On occasion, direct backup to the AE for product related matters

- History of working in high volume, fast-paced sales environment preferred
- Independent self-starter, effective team player with creative problem solving and decision making skills to help the organization achieve its earnings objectives
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to instantly build rapport
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external clients
- Organizational skills
- Time management ability
