Summary
Join our Enterprise Product Advanced Advertising team as a strategic member responsible for data analysis, architecture design, and strategy development. You will lead the engineering team in building data products, optimize system performance, and foster a collaborative work environment. This fully remote position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in a similar role, and strong analytical and communication skills. Requirements
- Possess a Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred or equivalent related work experience
- Have 5+ years working as a Product Owner or in a similar data-focused role
- Demonstrate 3+ years of analytical ability to utilize data to drive decision-making and inform product strategies
- Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically while handling multiple projects concurrently
- Have a solid understanding of data management principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance
- Be proficient in data querying languages (SQL) and have experience with programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala
- Possess strong expertise in data visualization tools and techniques to present complex data insights to various stakeholders
- Have the ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to derive actionable insights, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for product enhancement and innovation
- Develop, audit and maintain an efficient, scalable, and secure data architecture that optimally handles data ingestion, storage, processing, and retrieval
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define data strategies that align with business objectives and product roadmaps. Identify data-related opportunities and challenges and propose effective solutions
- Lead the engineering team in building robust data products and solutions that empower the organization to extract meaningful insights and make data-driven decisions
- Continuously assess and optimize data architecture and processes to enhance system performance, reduce latency, and optimize cost
- Foster a collaborative work environment, providing mentorship and guidance to the data product team, encouraging innovation and product quality
- Keep abreast of the latest data-related technologies, tools, and frameworks, evaluating their potential integration into the company's data ecosystem
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience in the consumer-facing industry, understanding consumer behavior, and leveraging data for advertising strategies
- Have experience with data activation and monetization strategies, leveraging data assets to drive revenue and business growth
- Be familiar with data tools and technologies, such as data warehouses, data lakes, ETL processes, and data visualization tools
- Have knowledge of machine learning concepts and their application in data products
- Have an understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., VPPA, CCPA) and experience implementing security measures for data protection
