Product Owner

Summary

Join OKTO, a company powering digital payments, as a Product Owner based in Argentina. Lead the definition and execution of key product initiatives in payments and fintech. Work remotely in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating with international stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses a strong product mindset, experience delivering impactful solutions, and understands the LATAM fintech/payments landscape. You will define and own the product roadmap, gather and analyze business requirements, and prioritize the product backlog. Collaboration with various teams and post-launch processes are also key responsibilities. This role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product execution role
• Domain knowledge in fintech, payments, or consumer platforms, ideally within the LATAM region
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Demonstrated ability to manage product delivery in cross-functional, remote teams
• Strong knowledge of product discovery, backlog management, and stakeholder alignment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Professional fluency in English (spoken and written) is required, as daily collaboration with international teams is essential
• Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, and Monday.com
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management capabilities

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap, aligning it with company goals and priorities
• Gather and analyze business requirements, transforming them into clear, actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria
• Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical complexity, and customer impact
• Facilitate communication and alignment across tech, product, and business stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery
• Perform acceptance testing and validation of new features before release
• Monitor and analyze product performance using tools such as Power BI or similar; iterate based on data and user feedback
• Contribute to post-launch processes, including documentation, knowledge sharing, and product training
