Product Owner

Summary

Join Prometheum, a fintech company specializing in digital asset securities, as a Product Owner. Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience managing products through a technical program delivery using common (e.g. scrum, agile) management structures, with direct involvement in requirements analysis, documentation, quality assurance and resource allocation
• Sufficient technical competency to be able to work with a multi-disciplinary team on a variety of technical issues
• A solid understanding of SDLC and modern web-application technologies
• Experience working with the Financial Services industry in Product Management or Product Ownership capacity
• Understanding of trading, securities, clearance, settlement and custody
• Excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with internal and external development teams
• Demonstrable technical writing experience
• Experience working with regulated applications (Financial)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the firm, principal engineers, designers, qa, and rest of the engineering team, ensuring a market-leading enterprise product
• Manage business and technical side requirements, bringing features to production
• Assist in developing products, features, and road maps by listing out the functionality to be completed within a variety of time frames
• Participating in SAFe PI Planning by breaking down specific business or technical requirement documents by translating work to be completed through collaboration with all parties involved
• Ensure details within Epics / Stories / Tasks etc. are supporting business and/or technical requirements and documented appropriately
• Work closely and take ownership of relationships with third party vendors where applicable to provide them requirements, regular communication and ensure timely delivery of changes, coordinate testing and change management
• Continuously interfaces with internal and external audiences and responds to product-related questions and requests
• Create UAT test plans, and technical documentation
• Work closely with the Release Manager to design and maintain release notes and documentation where needed
• Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
• Identify significant product, organizational, and process opportunities and drive them to fruition often without explicit direction and resourcing

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with security testing and auditing, load/performance testing and test automation
