Summary

Join KITSCH, a self-financed, female-owned global accessory brand, as their Product & Packaging Development Specialist (Consumables). As the process expert, you will ensure seamless execution of the Product Development Lifecycle. Manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and align activities with business objectives to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget. This role requires strong financial analysis skills, supplier management expertise, and proficiency in product and packaging development. The position is full-time, remote, based in the Philippines, and offers a monthly compensation of $700-$900.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers, including all direct communication, sample sourcing, pricing negotiation, and timeline management to ensure suppliers meet all required deadlines
  • Ensure all products meet & exceed Kitsch quality standards
  • Conduct financial analyses for new & ongoing products, including cost and margin analysis, using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to ensure profitable outcomes
  • Negotiate costs with suppliers to meet 70% margin requirements while maintaining required SRPs
  • Have a thorough understanding of key cost analysis inputs including shipping costs, duty costs and tariffs based on HTS codes for calculation and evaluation
  • Work closely with the product development team, including Associate Director and Sr. Director, to understand product requirements and ensure that activities align with product development timelines and budgets
  • Identify and source new suppliers to meet business needs, including researching and evaluating potential suppliers for new or existing projects
  • Manage timelines and meet deadlines to ensure timely delivery of all new products launched per season
  • Ability to manage many projects simultaneously for multiple seasons, each at varying stages of development
  • Ensure Production team conducts contract negotiations with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions
  • Ensure all internal documents are up-to-date at all times for accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide clear and timely communication with all internal stakeholders for updates, decisions, and deadlines
  • Provide clear and timely communication with all external stakeholders to provide clear direction and receive regular updates
  • Product development encompasses packaging, requiring collaboration with internal designers and external suppliers
  • This includes briefing internal designers on artwork timelines and briefing suppliers on dieline development, sample creation, and cost negotiation
