Join Universal Biosensors, a leading Australian biosensor company, as their Product Specialist for SENTIAβ’, a revolutionary handheld wine analyzer. This role, reporting to the Global Head of Marketing, focuses on optimizing the SENTIA solution, collaborating with the product development team on new offerings, and fostering community engagement. The ideal candidate possesses at least 3 years of wine-testing/making experience, strong technical expertise in oenology/viticulture, and proven marketing skills. The role can be based in Melbourne, Australia, or remotely on the West Coast of the US (near wine regions).
Requirements
- Be degree-qualified in Wine Science/testing background
- Have at least 3 years' experience in wine-testing/making related roles
- Possess technical expertise in oenology/viticulture
- Possess the ability to work autonomously
- Be customer-obsessed

- Be data-informed
- Possess strong relationship and customer management skills
- Possess the ability to derive clarity from ambiguity (opportunity, vision, strategy, roadmap)
- Possess sound capability in customer engagement, wireframing, user story writing, etc

- Possess solid learning agility and adaptability managing ongoing product development & delivery
- Possess intimate knowledge of the winemaking industry

- Possess a well-developed professional network
- Possess effective time management and prioritisation skills

- Be located in Melbourne Australia and possess the full permit to work in Australia
- Be located in West Coast US, in/near wine regions
Responsibilities
- Drive optimization of the total Sentia solution
- Work with the product development team to develop new offerings (and/or improve existing) to expand the Sentia suite
- Collaborate closely with R&D and winemakers/customers to continuously evolve SENTIA
- Foster community and advocacy for SENTIA with social media and other channels - champion SENTIA
- Undertake regular market research activities to identify trends and validate product enhancements
- Participate and contribute in the development of all sales & marketing initiatives, including trade shows and stakeholder presentations
