Product Designer, XR

Summary

Join our team as a Product XR Designer and lead the design of XR products from concept to launch. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create innovative, user-friendly products.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on VR
• Foundational knowledge and experience using UX principles and UCD (user-centered design) methodologies
• Experience with a variety of XR technologies, including VR, AR, and MR
• Experience designing and integrating elements from the Adobe Creative Suite or other compositing packages
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Presentation skills, able to explain conceptual ideas and designs
• Portfolio of work that demonstrates your skills and experience

Responsibilities

• Manage the product design lifecycle from concept to launch
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create innovative and user-friendly products
• Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure that products meet the needs of users
• Stay up-to-date on the latest XR technologies and trends
• Create artifacts such as wireframes, user flows, functionality specs, prototypes, and high-fidelity design
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders
• Provide constructive and thoughtful feedback that creates a safe space to freely ideate and collaborate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in product design, with a focus on XR
• General understanding of Unity programming for designing UX and developer communication
