Summary
Join Quorum, a leading provider of workflow software for government affairs professionals, as a Professional Services Developer. You will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining integrations and services for Quorum's products. You will work with customers to scope, deliver, and test solutions, and have the opportunity to learn about Quorum's products, users, and the public affairs world. This role offers opportunities for growth and development, including taking ownership of features, making technical decisions, and mentoring others. Requirements
- 2+ years of work experience at a company that produces software for end users as it primary function
- Professional experience writing application code in backend languages like Python and Django
- Professional experience with any relational databases, including writing SQL queries, table and index design and system tuning for performance
- Able and motivated to design complex technical systems, write technical design documentation, and implement design
- You not only the care about the quality of code you write but also has a strong desire to build skills of those around through code review and mentorship
- You care deeply about the code you write and either have significant technical skills solving real-world problems or the drive to quickly develop them
- You're a highly-motivated self-starter who wants to make valuable contributions to a team from day 1
- You're an engaged learner—you want to expand your skills, get your hands dirty, and find solutions to challenging problems that require tradeoffs
- You want to work in a fun environment where you can form real friendships with other professionals and where you have a strong sense of belonging at a growing startup

Responsibilities
- You will be part of the professional service technical team and report to a Professional Service Manager and work the full-stack using tools like React/Redux, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, AWS and much more
- This team supports Quorum’s mission of building exceptional software for public affairs professionals by being responsible for the end-to-end feature development and maintenance of integrations and services of the al Quorum products
- You will interact directly with customers to scope, deliver, and test the solutions that you create
- You’ll learn about Quorum’s many products, users, and the public affairs world
- You’ll start learning about the products and solutions the professional services team offers and implements
- You'll ship new code to production for different components of the system
- You'll take ownership of an entire set of features and make decisions that impact many clients
- You'll help guide our team as we make broad technical decisions impacting our stack, our products, and the growth of the entire company
- We’re responsible for ensuring that clients have an amazing experience being onboarded and trained on Quorum software platforms
- We provide team and individual product demonstrations and trainings that promote best practices in the government affairs space
- We are dedicated to every user’s success and address challenges quickly and creatively
- We provide managed services to help our customers leverage the investment in our software
- We provide technical services to integrate data between our customers applications and their Quorum software
- We take pride in developing personal relationships with our users and our team
- We regularly support one another to ensure the success of our team and our clients
