Summary

Join Axon and be a critical team member responsible for deploying network, hardware, and software solutions for Axon’s Interview Room and Fusus solutions. This post-sale, customer-facing role prioritizes deployment efficiency and a positive customer implementation experience. You will collaborate with agency personnel, deploy solutions, adapt to changing priorities, coordinate with customers and vendors, generate reports, offer guidance on hardware placement, develop installation diagrams, engage with key decision-makers, and conduct training sessions. The position requires domestic travel (90%) and is remote within the United States. Success depends on your ability to work efficiently and provide exceptional customer service. The role involves working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform job functions on site and remotely with minimal oversight
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers
  • Aptitude to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Desire to work with a team or visit clients in person, weekly. (This position does not have a residency location requirement, but successful candidates must reside within reasonable proximity to a major airport.)
  • 3+ Years of advanced computer network implementation including systems software, Windows operating systems and applications software, hardware, and configurations, (A+, Network + or equivalent preferred)
  • Basic understanding of IP Camera, network audio video, POE technologies, and basic network connectivity troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP layers, local area networking, physical layer infrastructure
  • Experience implementing and deploying products in IP-based Ethernet networks, including layer 2, LAN, WAN
  • Experience installing low voltage data cabling

Responsibilities

  • Ensure regular and reliable attendance, demonstrating commitment to work responsibilities
  • Collaborate with agency technical and non-technical personnel, post-sale, to verify readiness for installation
  • With minimal assistance, deploy hardware and software solutions in a dynamic environment, prioritizing exceptional customer experience
  • Exhibit flexibility to undertake additional projects and adapt to evolving priorities
  • Coordinate with customers and supervise 3rd party vendors throughout the installation process
  • Generate comprehensive and punctual project deployment reports
  • Offer guidance to customers on optimal hardware placement, tailoring solutions to enhance their workflows, and establish a thorough and compliant interview data collection environment
  • Develop accurate installation diagrams and thorough documentation for the implemented solution
  • Engage with key technology decision-makers such as Chiefs of Police, Command staff, Sheriffs, Directors of IT, and program managers after the sale
  • Conduct training sessions for both technical and non-technical staff, ensuring they are proficient in using and providing basic support for the Axon Interview solution
